Volunteering at the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and the DeLand Fall Arts Festival in Maitland, Florida is a great way to do just that! Both events offer a variety of activities that benefit manatees and their habitat, as well as an annual juried art festival that is open to volunteers from both inside and outside of Florida. At the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts, volunteers are asked to commit to four shifts for the main event in May, while a minimum commitment of two shifts is required for the winter mini-festival.
